2021 AYLA Cabernet Sauvignon "KOKO NOR" Vineyard. A selection from one distinct vineyard and three uniquely different Cabernet Sauvignon clones with a touch of Malbec.

The fruit was hand-picked, hand-sorted, and then whole berry fermented in micro-fermentation batches. This results in a richly textured Napa Valley Cabernet that is incredibly approachable upon release yet will age gracefully for years to come.

2021 AYLA CABERNET SAUVIGNON KOKO NOR VINEYARD - CHILES VALEY DISTRICT - NAPA VALLEY

LUNA CYCLE FARMING: The 2021 Ayla Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon was cultivated with meticulous attention to detail, adhering to the rhythms of the lunar cycle. The vines were carefully pruned in early spring, ensuring optimal growth and fruit quality. Throughout the growing season, irrigation practices were synchronized with lunar phases, promoting deep root development and enhanced flavor profiles.

As the moon waxed, the vines thrived, drawing on the gravitational pull to bolster their vitality. Harvesting took place under a full moon, which is believed to elevate the grape’s sugar levels and overall expression. This mindful approach to vineyard management not only honors traditional practices but also results in a Cabernet Sauvignon that is rich in character, reflecting the land's unique terroir and the cycles of nature. Each bottle of the 2021 Ayla encapsulates this harmonious blending of art and science, yielding a truly exquisite wine experience.
